H.B (Guitar/Electronics). Born in Marseilles, he lives in Paris since 1997. after playing as a guitarist in ION+(99-00) with jurgen heckel aka SOGAR (12K, LIST) and released three self-produced cd-r and a 7" in german label Beau Rivage in AUGUST 2000, he's launched is solo career as SOL in late 2000, played a lot of concert with Charles Curtis, David Grubbs, Komet, Taylor Deupree, Sogar, in galleries and regular venues in Paris (Batofar, Purple Institute, Instants Chavirés), Nantes, New York (Tonic, Diapason Gallery in duo with D.Grubbs)..he's created his own label List in 2001. he's released a cd-r video "I@s" (List-L0) sept 2001 by Thomas Einfeldt (who also worked with Sogar, Taylor Deupree and Christian Zanesi) which he made the soundtrack, his first electronic release. the video was presented in France (nantes, paris), spain (periferias festival), U.S.A (new-york). he also made a track for the Minima-List compilation "vers#1" and a track "form.f" for the Tu'mp3 website (www.tu-m.com)

"rvb" is his first full lengh album and using his own name. composed on 3 long pieces: the first "r" based on moving sinewaves on high frequencies along guitar feedback and 2 bass clarinet try to make a fusion of different sound sources (acoustic, electric, electronic). this piece shows the beauty of tone interferences on drone sounds, working on time and texture.
the second one "v" based on pure low frequencies sinewaves with constantly slow moving intervales and amplitude.
the third one "b" based on moving atmosphere with 2 bass clarinet, guitar, sinewaves, DSP and piano.

MATTHIEU SALADIN ( bass clarinet ): also soprano saxophone player, he is one of most active underground paris improv scene in paris, duetting with H.B since late 2000 but also founding member of the electro-acoustic trio Archipel ("space casino" vacuum-fr-2001) with whom he also make electronics.

IVAN SOLANO (bass clarinet) : classical and modern music interpreter but also electro-acoustic composer.
ivan and matthieu are also a member of " COLLECTIF LIST" an electro-acoustic ( drums, clarinet, guitar, laptops) musician collective create by H.B who make regular concerts in paris since his creation in november 2002, they've just played this month legendary free jazz/improv venue "les Instants Chavirés".

DAVID GRUBBS (piano) : founding member of hardcore bands like Squirrel Bait and Bastro as avant-rock legend band GASTR DEL SOL with Bundy K.Brown, John Mc Intire and Jim o'rourke, he also played with Red Crayola, Tony Conrad, Oval or Mats Gustafsson among others. he pubished beautiful avant-pop records like "the spectrum between" 2001 or "rickets and scurvy" 2002 on Dragcity and FatCat as more experimental cds on table of the elements and his own label Blue Chopstick.

Design : Taylor Deupree : also microsound musician, he published albums on mille-plateaux, sub-rosa, audio-nl, raster-noton and on his own label 12k which he also make design as for other labels, he's also a photographer, the cover of "rvb" is based on one of his beautiful photo.
