ghost movements is a collection of contact microphone recordings made in the tunnels that run under much of down town montreal. the recordings, if at all, are processed only slightly. woven into these recordings are fragments of recordings of nathan performing on cello, glockenspiel, bowed acoustic guitar and piano. the two tracks, delicate and haunting, communicate well the underlying themes of death and its relationship to being underground.

Nathan McNinch is a musician, artist, designer, student and creator of this label (petite sono.) He has self-released 5 limited edition cdrs under his own name, as well as several releases, in various formats, for bands and other collaborative projects that he has been a part of over the past decade. Nathan has done several small tours in Canada and the US both solo and as part of a band. He currently resides in Montreal.
